A while back, a friend of mine received acupuncture treatments, and inadvertently there was a needle left on his backside. He was telling me that he could not understand why he was uncomfortable sitting until he learned why. After I stopped laughing, I said to him, "I've heard of sitting on needles, but that’s getting carried away a bit!"
Figuratively speaking, there are many situations that it does feels that you are sitting on needles. And a job interview is no exception. My guest When it rains steadily, the sounds of the down pour on the roof and windows have a definite emotional sweet soothing affect and I am reminded of the origin of the language (home or house). Additionally, the use of the word “hides” as we know it means animal skin, thus an animal is at home in their own skin.
While fishing in salt water and as the boat would putt-putt along, we would troll for fish with different baits to determine the preference of the fish. This is likened to what cyber predators do to hook or ensnare unsuspected victims in cyber space.
FBI statistics have shown that in any given day, there are at least 500,000 online predators on the prowl to gain advantage of you or more vulnerably, your children. My guest this week, a clinical psychologist in New York City has created the concept of iPredator and has devoted his spare time to inform and educate the public to this growing cyber metastasizing cancer. |
