When we think of New York, we think of the Big Apple, when we think of Chicago, we think of the windy city, however, when we think of Los Vegas, we think of Sin City because of its well-known unfettered avarice nature. And is it not true humans have the propensity to dub a country, a city, and of course, a person by their reputation or their legacy?
But on the other side of the coin of greed, there is altruism or the concern for the welfare of others, unless they are hiding behind philanthropy for the purpose of recognition, fame or to receive accolades which falls into the definition of greed, this disparaging human behavior is so insidious to say the least. In one of this week's episodes, and author shared the history, the psychology and the methodology scammers or fraudsters deploy to satisfy their insatiable appetite of greed for personal gain, and it has been ongoing since time immemorial.

The story goes this way, a mature fish while swimming encountered two young fish and asked, "how's the water?" The two young fish quickly replied, "what the heck is water!?" Is it not true, many of us get used to our day in and day out of life that we just do not question our personal world? And in today's context of our discussion is the choppy waters of our indebtedness. If you are someone that does not appreciate plain talk, this blog is not for you in terms of considering the trappings of debt.
In this week's episode, a financial expert who authored the book entitled Going Broke Is No Joke! 52 Money Tips Everybody Should Know, where she shares the realities of personal finance, especially, for the sake of those in underserved communities. Do you know that debt reveals a lot about ourselves? Yes, it is all based on our cultural environment which demands immediate gratification, and it affects our psychology as a consumer. Can you think of something you would love to do but cannot? Some would have loved to have played professional football and become as famous as Tom Brady. Some would have loved to have been the leading artist of all time in record sales and leaving a legacy that persists to our day, as Elvis Pressley accomplished. But these two people mentioned could have not been able to accomplish what Stephen Hawking a prestigious British Theoretical Physicist so-called disabled was able to do even while encumbered by a neuro -motor disorder since his 20s and he is no exception.
You can see where I am headed in this blog, simply put, we all live in a spectrum that is based on abilities, natural gifts, and different propensities that only we can expand upon when motivated. Can you think of How many ways you can cook an egg? I will have to admit that eggs benedict is my favorite and please file it in your memory bank. That said, there are also many ways in which you can purchase a home in today's market, and I hope to share some strategies with you in this blog.

Many folks have the misconception that there is only one traditional way of going about in purchasing, but that could not be further than the truth, it is called being creative in how to cook homeownership to meet your goal. I wonder how many of us have gone to our primary Doctor and left rattled without asking the question we intended to discuss, it was all a blur. Perhaps we forget by distraction, shyness, or just afraid to take too much of the doctor's time.
